BEFORE: Years of weathered, fading brown paint left the home’s exterior feeling dark, tired, and in need of new life.
“You can change the outside, but the real transformation happens within.”
AFTER: Inspired by Parisian elegance, this exterior renovation lightened a once-dark stone facade with an antique wash that softens the stone while highlighting its texture. Soft lavender French doors add a subtle pop of color, creating a timeless, romantic exterior with effortless European charm.

BEFORE: The entry foyer felt dark and dated, weighed down by brown carpet, ’90s tile, and flat beige walls.
“Beyond the front door, the transformation truly begins.”
AFTER: Deco style and a playful, modern Frida Kahlo–inspired print add bold color and personality, transforming the space into an elevated, expressive, and lively introduction to the home., and full of life.

BEFORE: Though fully functional and “totally fine”, the kitchen was firmly rooted in the 90’s, with dated finishes and a layout that lacked visual interest and modern appeal. It served its purpose but felt flat and uninspired, falling short of the glamorous, welcoming heart-of-the-home space the family envisioned.
“When ‘totally fine’ starts to feel a little outdated.”
AFTER: The kitchen was reimagined as a glamorous yet highly functional family space, anchored by a medium-toned wood island with ample storage and seating. White shaker cabinetry, double-stacked glass uppers, a six-burner dual-fuel range, and a large stainless sink with brass faucet blend classic style with everyday ease. Layered backsplashes add depth, while a drawer microwave and thoughtful layout make the kitchen elegant, inviting, and ideal for real family life.

BEFORE: The half bath was basic and uninspired, feeling dark, dull, and lacking any personality or visual interest.
“A small space, a big impact—sometimes the tiniest changes can transform everything, just like in life.”
AFTER: The half bath was transformed into a striking, artful retreat with an Art Deco–inspired “Mermaids in the Moonlight” wallpaper as the accent wall. Deep teal walls echo the wallpaper’s colors, while the mermaids shimmer in shades of teal and the moon glows in light gold, creating a sense of magic and elegance. A single dark navy sink base grounds the space, adding contrast and sophistication. Every visit to the bathroom now feels like stepping into a jewelry box—bold, whimsical, and undeniably cool.

BEFORE: The den shared an awkward layout with the dining room and remained open to the foyer, leaving the space choppy and disjointed. Half carpet, half tile, it lacked warmth and definition, failing to feel like a place to truly pause, relax, or gather calm energy within the home.
“Sometimes you just need a place to pause, a sanctuary.”
AFTER: Off the foyer, the once-awkward den became the family’s “peace room.” Reclaimed glass French doors and a new built-in wall create a cozy, defined retreat, unified by hardwood floors. A deep emerald sofa, dark navy walls, and a bold flamingo painting painted by Rachel Hope add warmth and personality, resulting in a serene, no-tech space designed for rest and reset.

BEFORE: What is now a spacious, luxurious primary suite was once a two-car garage—functional, yes, but dark, cold, and lacking personality. The family needed an extra bedroom far more than a garage, and though the space served a purpose, it simply didn’t serve the life of the family now.
“Functional, but not fitting—sometimes what works must make way for what truly suits your life.”
AFTER: The former garage was transformed into a breathtaking primary suite that is both expansive and inviting. Solid wood arched French doors reclaimed from a church create a stunning entry to the new closet, adding architectural drama and character. A tufted taupe bed anchors the room, while two hand-laid Moroccan mirrors and an African wedding juju bring texture, artistry, and cultural richness. A large palm introduces greenery from the outdoors, connecting the interior to the landscape beyond the windows. What was once a purely functional space now fully supports my family’s current needs, evolving into a serene, soulful retreat that truly fits my life and is just what I need.

“Sometimes you just need a place to pause, a sanctuary.”
